Dr. Chris C. Richards received his Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Baylor University, then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University Of Oklahoma College Of Dentistry. During his time at Baylor, Dr. Richards earned the Baylor University Provost Scholarship, was a member of the Golden Key Honor Society and the School Of Education Honor Society, and maintained a position on the Dean’s Academic Honor Roll. While working on his doctorate, he received an academic scholarship and maintained a position on the Dean’s Honor Roll.
In December 2013, Dr. Richards received his fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists; in July 2017, he received his fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. In addition to these fellowships, he is a 2016 graduate of the Masters Program of the Center of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry (CARD) in Dallas. In addition to these honors, he holds memberships in the Dallas County Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association; he is also a certified Invisalign provider. Dr. Richards is committed to continuing his education through various programs and conferences, to keep up with changes in dental technology and practices.
Dr. Richards was born in Tyler, Texas, and moved with his family shortly afterwards to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His interest in dentistry took shape after he was involved in an accident on the baseball field that resulted in the need for urgent dental care. This experience helped him recognize the importance of both good dental work and the right professional support from your dentist.
Outside the office, Dr. Richards loves spending time with his wife Beth and their two children Chase and Reese. He enjoys golfing and spending time with his family outdoors.
